One Month Later: Thank You for an Incredible Start!

Just a little over one month ago, Ezra Whetstone and the Masters of Time - The Mark of Aion officially launched into the world.
As a first-time author, you spend months—and in my case, years—wondering what will happen once your story finally leaves your hands and lands in someone else's. Will readers connect with the characters? Will they enjoy the adventure? Will they want to keep turning the pages?
After the first 30 days, I can honestly say I'm overwhelmed with gratitude.
The support has been incredible.
Readers have ordered the book from across the United States and beyond. I've had the opportunity to visit bookstores, chat with families, talk with teachers and librarians, and hear from young readers who have already finished Ezra's adventure—and are asking when the next one is coming!
Even more encouraging than the sales has been the feedback.
I've received messages from parents who said they couldn't put the book down after they started reading it with their children. Adults have told me they enjoyed the historical mysteries just as much as the kids did. Young readers have shared their favorite scenes, favorite historical moments, and even started asking their own "What if...?" questions about history and time travel.
Those conversations are exactly why I wanted to bring Ezra's story to the page.
My hope was to create an adventure that would entertain readers while sparking curiosity about the real people, places, and events hidden throughout history. Seeing that happen has been incredibly rewarding.
Every Review Makes a Difference
As exciting as this first month has been, there's one area where I could really use your help.
If you've read the book and enjoyed it, would you consider leaving a review on Amazon or Goodreads?
You don't need to write a long essay. Even a few sentences about what you liked can make a huge difference.
Reviews help in several important ways:
They help other readers decide whether the book is right for them.
They increase the visibility of the book on online retailers.
They help librarians, teachers, and bookstores discover new titles.
They encourage independent authors to keep creating new stories.
If The Mark of Aion made you smile, kept you guessing, or inspired you to look up one of the historical events in the story, I'd love to hear about it.
Looking Ahead
The first month has been better than I could have imagined, but this is only the beginning.
I'm already hard at work planning the next adventures for Ezra, Velara, and the Masters of Time. There are more historical mysteries waiting to be uncovered, more ancient civilizations to explore, and plenty of surprises still ahead.
Thank you to everyone who has purchased the book, recommended it to a friend, invited me to speak, scheduled a signing, or simply shared an encouraging word. Every bit of support means more than you know.
If you haven't picked up your copy yet, I hope you'll join Ezra on his journey through history.
And if you've already finished the adventure... thank you for being part of this amazing first month. I can't wait to share what's next.
